RELACIÓN ENTRE EL TIPO DE APOYO Y EL ESTILO DE AMOR EN PAREJAS

Debido al incremento en el índice de divorcios en México, esta investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre el tipo de apoyo y el estilo de amor en parejas casadas mediante la aplicación del Inventario de Estilos de Amor y el Cuestionario de Tipo de Apoyo en Parejas. Se realizó una correlación de Pearson entre los estilos de amor y los tipos de apoyo, hallándose que el estilo de amor amistoso se presenta con mayor frecuencia y tiene una relación positiva con el apoyo expresado, mientras que el amor lúdico es menos frecuente y se vincula con el apoyo negativo. Para las mujeres es muy importante que exista un sentimiento de amistad para percibir un apoyo positivo de la pareja, mientras que en los hombres la relación pasional es aquella en la que se percibe el apoyo. En hombres y mujeres el estilo de amor lúdico es el que menos apoyo positivo encuentra.

Due to the increase of divorce rates in Mexico, the aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the type of support and the type of love in married couples through the application of the Love Styles Inventory and the Support Type Questionnaire. A Pearson correlation was performed between love styles and the support types, founding that the friendly love style is more frequently established and it has a positive correlation with the expressed support, while the playful love is presented in a lower rate and it is linked to the negative support. For the women, it is very important to perceive a feeling of friendship to perceive a positive support, while men the perception of support is in the erotic relationship. In both, men and women, the playful love style is the one that finds the less positive support.
