LA FORMACIÓN DE CALIDAD Y EL OPTIMISMO POR EL FUTURO LABORAL DE LOS JÓVENES EN LA UNIVERSIDAD

Resumen: En este artículo se presentan los resultados de investigación formativa realizada en la Universidad Industrial de Santander –UIS-, Colombia. Se indaga a los jóvenes de pregrado sobre la calidad de la formación que reciben actualmente y su opinión sobre aspectos de la vida universitaria y sus expectativas laborales. El estudio se realizó por muestreo aleatorio simple, se ponderó según su distribución por unidad académica y sexo, con una población total de 357 estudiantes de pregrado. De los resultados se resalta el alto costo de la educación, las pérdidas de calidad, la preocupación por realizar postgrados, la buena evaluación de la universidad, la exigencia de mejores condiciones materiales y la relativa tranquilidad por el porvenir. Se concluye que la inserción laboral es un tema que angustia al joven, pero una inserción también de calidad acorde con la formación individual.   Abstract: The article presents the results of research conducted at the Industrial University of Santander-UIS-Colombia, in which young people inquire about the quality of undergraduate education and who currently receive their views on aspects of university life their job prospects. The study was conducted by simple random sampling according to their distribution by academic unit and sex, with a total population of 357 undergraduate students. From these results highlight the high cost of education, loss of quality, concern for making graduate, good evaluation of the university, the demand for better material conditions and the relative tranquility for the future. We conclude that employability is an issue that the young trouble, but also as an insert in accordance with individual training.
