Spiro[cyclopropane-1,3'-indolin]-2'-one

Abstract: In the title molecule, C₁₀H₉NO, the dihedral angle between the mean plane of the cyclopropane ring and the essentially planar [maximum deviation = 0.032 (2) Å] indole ring system is 87.65 (17)°. In the crystal, intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds link molecules into one-dimensional chains along [100].
