La gestión global del talento: Retos y Soluciones

Dado que la oferta de empleados con talento no es suficiente para abastecer la demanda, cada vez hay más empresas multinacionales que responden creando sistemas de ámbito mundial para identificar y desarrollar el talento. Sin embargo, muchas de estas empresas han comenzado a reconocer la gran cantidad de retos que supone diseñar e implementar tales sistemas. En el presente artículo debatimos los retos a los que se enfrentan las multinacionales en la identificación del talento, discutimos la acciones que éstas llevan a cabo con sus pools de talentos, y hacemos sugerencias sobre cómo podrían abordarse estos retos.

As the supply of talented employees fails to keep up with demand, a growing number of multinational firms have responded by putting in place global systems to identify and develop talent. However, many of these firms have begun to acknowledge the host of challenges involved in the design and implementation of such systems. In this article we discuss the challenges that multinationals face in identifying talent, the actions they take with their pools of talent, and make suggestions for how these challenges might be addressed.
