PRIMER REGISTRO DE Eumops dabbenei (THOMAS, 1914) (CHIROPTERA, MOLOSSIDAE) PARA LA PROVINCIA DE ENTRE RÍOS, ARGENTINA

Se cita el primer registro de Eumops dabbenei (Chiroptera: Molossidae) para la provincia de Entre Ríos, Argentina. El ejemplar se encontró junto a un Eumops bonairensis en el suelo de una construcción habitada rodeada de tierras destinadas a agricultura. El individuo corresponde a una hembra joven o subadulta con cartílagos marcados en las articulaciones de las falanges de los dedos. Las características externas concuerdan con la descripción de la especie, sin embargo algunas medidas corporales y las medidas craneales presentan valores menores. Este registro permite extender el límite austral de distribución de la especie.

This is the first report of Eumops dabbenei (Chiroptera: Molossidae) for the province of Entre Ríos, Argentina. The specimen was found next to an individual of Eumops bonairensis on the floor of an inhabited building, surrounded by lands for agriculture. The specimen was aged as a young or subadult female because of the presence of cartilages in the finger joints. The external characters agree with the description of the species, nevertheless some corporal and cranial measures have smaller values. This report permits to extend the southern limit for the known distribution of the species.
