Gerencia y organización escolar: herramientas que construyen la eficacia educativa

El propósito del trabajo fue identificar qué entienden por gerencia los actores involucrados en el programa “El computador en la escuela”, como una de las dimensiones que contribuye a la eficacia del proyecto y a la calidad educativa. Este programa es coordinado por el Ministerio de Educación y el Centro Nacional para el Mejoramiento de la Enseñanza de la Ciencia, CENAMEC. El estudio se inscribe dentro del paradigma cualitativo y corresponde a una investigación de tipo exploratorio descriptivo. Se tomó una muestra de 7 escuelas de las 43 que forman parte del programa a nivel nacional. Se presenta un análisis de la información obtenida sobre el tema, proveniente de fuentes secundarias y los resultados generados de la recolección de información entre los actores involucrados en el programa. Se identificó, desde la perspectiva de los actores, los factores que para ellos conforman la gerencia de este programa de informática educativa, la importancia que ésta tiene en la ejecución del proyecto y en el alcance de sus objetivos. Se identificó algunas tareas gerenciales necesarias de mejorar.

The purpose of this paper is to identify what the actors involved in the program “The computer in the school” understand by management, which is one of the dimensions that contributes to the effectiveness of this project and to educational quality.
