Abstract

Este artículo consta de las siguientes partes l. Introducción. 2. Preparación del Plan de Desarrollo en la Facultad de Ingeniería. 3. Elementos para un diagnóstico. 4. El plan en perspectiva. 5. Principales tendencias tecnológicas globales. 6. Áreas de trabajo de la Facultad de Ingeniería. 7. La prospectiva y la reforma de la Facultad. 8. Conclusiones apéndice uno (para hacer prospectiva). La parte tres del artículo es una esquematización de las respuestas que suministraron los directores de departamento y curriculares, como parte de la preparación del seminario sobre plan de desarrollo que se llevó a cabo a finales de 1994. Con base en dicha parte tres se ha preparado un pre diagnóstico de la Facultad (apéndice dos). Una nota aclaratoria: han pasado dos años desde el ejercicio de planeación, de modo que habrá necesidad de analizar lo que ha ocurrido desde entonces.
