Mercosur: el peso de una iniciativa

Resumen

RESUMEN: Iturrieta revisa el proceso de integración llevado a cabo por Argentina, Brasil, Paraguay y Uruguay conocido por Mercosur. Partiendo de un análisis de los antecedentes históricos, se centra en el desarrollo del Tratado teniendo en mente no sólo la dimensión económica sino también la política. Finaliza apuntando algunas perspectivas de la evolución de Mercosur y de su relación con otros procesos de integración como la Comunidad Europea o el ALADI.

ABSTRACT: Iturrieta revises the integration process carried out by Argentina, Brasil. Paraguay and Uruguay Known as Mercosur. Firstly, he analyzes the historical background of the process, to go on, to focus the analysis on the development of the Teatry itself, bearing in mirad not only its economic dimension but also the political one. The author finishes the article by pointing at some prospectives of evolution of Mercosur and its relations with other integration processes such as the EC and ALADI.
