EL CONSENTIMIENTO INFORMADO, AUTONOMÍA Y BENEFICENCIA EN LA CONSULTA HOSPITALARIA DE LA CIUDAD DE SANTO DOMINGO

La propiedad del cuerpo es uno de los temas claves de la bioética para poder establecer una relación médico paciente con calidad moral. Ello implica reconocer la Autonomía como un principio que enarbolan los pacientes, la beneficencia el médico y el Consentimiento Informado como la mediación puente entre ambos principios. El reconocimiento y respeto de ellos debe conllevar a la permisión de la toma de decisiones por parte del paciente y como respuesta a la claridad del médico en que ello es un atributo de su pertenencia Estas variables son estudiadas en esta investigación, con el interés de ver si están presentes en el ejercicio profesional en 10 hospitales de la Ciudad de Santo Domingo.

The ownership of the body is one of the key issues of bioethics to establish a doctor-patient relationship with moral quality. This involves recognizing the autonomy as a principle of the patients, charity as the medical principle and the informed consent as the mediation bridge between the two principles. The recognition and respect for them should lead to the permission of decision making by the patient and in response to the clarity of the doctor that this is an attribute of their ownership. These variables are studied in this research, with interest to see if they are present in the professional practice in diez hospitals in the city of Santo Domingo.
