K Weng Sehu, William R Lee, editors - BMJ Books, Blackwell Publishing, 2005. 278 pages, indexed and illustrated.

'As in our pathology, so is our practice'. This was a comment made by Dr. William Osler, the great clinician. Introduction to pathologic basis of various ophthalmic diseases is quite important. This makes a clinician more knowledgeable about the disease. A recent book on ophthalmic pathology - An illustrated guide for clinician by Sehu K. Weng and William Lee from UK would be quite handy for ophthalmic PGs to grasp basics of ophthalmic pathology. A picture is worth thousand words. The strength of the book is highest quality and annotated illustrations. A CD Rom has been also provided with the book, which will allow the reader to see the pictures in larger magnification. The book has got 11 chapters dealing with the basics of ophthalmic pathology to various ophthalmic lesions and tumors. The book costs 125 pounds (Rs. 8,400) approximately. The book is indexed and contains 278 pages.
