El IAER: un indicador de la actividad económica de la provincia de Santa Fe

Este trabajo presenta los avances realizados, por parte de la UCEL, en la elaboración de un Indicador de la Actividad Económica Regional (IAER), específicamente de la provincia de Santa Fe. La investigación tiene como objetivo medir el crecimiento del Producto Bruto Geográfico provincial mediante un índice compuesto y mostrar cómo se pueden utilizar estas mediciones para el análisis de la coyuntura y estructura regional usando el modelo Shift-Share.

This paper presents the progress achieved by UCEL in the design of a Regional Economic Activity Indicator (IAER, Indicador de la Actividad Económica Regional) specifically focused on the province of Santa Fe. The purpose of the research is to measure the growth of the provincial Gross Geographic Product by means of a complex index, as well as to show how these measurements could be used to analyze both regional juncture and regional structure using the shift-share model.
