El año internacional de la juventud y el tercer mundo. ¿Qué hay al final del túnel?

En el contexto del Año Internacional de la Juventud, se presenta un análisis de los jóvenes de clase baja, especialmente de los marginados. La gran mayoría de la población del Tercer Mundo pertenece al estrato socioeconómico bajo, y la mayoría es muy joven. La migración del campo a la ciudad ha creado serios problemas de empleo, educación, vivienda, y producido delincuencia y una baja calidad de la vida. Se presentan ejemplos de Colombia, que se pueden aplicar a toda América Latina y tal vez a todo el Tercer Mundo

In the context of the International Year of the Youth, an analysis is presented of the lower c1ass, particularly of the marginal youngsters. The large majority of the population of the Third World belongs to the low socio-economic level, and the majority is very young. The migration from the country to the city has created serious problem of employment, education, housing, and produced delinquency and a very low quality of life. Examples are presented from Colombian young people, that can apply also to other Latin American countries, and probably to the whole of the Third World
