Productive level and energy balance in buffalo cow

Abstract

Buffalo cow, at the beginning of lactation, shows a decrease in DM intake which determines a condition of physiologic hyponutrition (Campanile et al., 1997). In order to ensure physiologic haematic levels of glucose, the organism mobilizes the fat deposits and muscle proteins.
