Un proceso general de diseño en Ingeniería Mecánica

Abstract

El diseño en ingeniería mecánica se dedica en gran medida al cálculo de transmisiones y elementos mecánicos. Aun cuando esta parte es de vital importancia, no deja de ser un paso dentro del proceso total de diseño. La integración del proceso mediante un método general permite al estudiante tener una visión más exacta del diseño, integrar los conocimientos adquiridos y aplicar un método. Al diseñador le ofrece la oportunidad de salirse de la forma empírica, muchas veces utilizada, al emprender un problema de diseño, y seguir un procedimiento más confiable.
