ANÁLISIS DE PIRETROIDES EN SUELO Y AGUA DE ZONAS AGRÍCOLAS Y URBANAS DE LOS VALLES DEL YAQUI Y MAYO

Los insecticidas piretroides han incrementado su uso en el último decenio a nivel mundial, se utilizan mezclados con insecticidas organofosforados, potenciando su acción y permanencia en el ambiente. El objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar la presencia de cialotrina, ciflutrina, cipermetrina, fenvalerato y deltametrina en agua y suelo de los valles del Yaqui y Mayo, Sonora. Para el análisis de piretroides se empleó el método de dispersión de matriz en fase sólida (DMFS) y de cromatografía de gases con detector de captura de electrones. Se recolectaron un total de 194 muestras (123 de suelo y 71 de agua). Se obtuvieron 14 muestras con residuos de piretroides (11 de agua y 3 de suelo). La mayor concentración detectada fue en suelo con 65.6 μg/kg de cialotrina, mientras que en agua fue de 29.4 μg/L de cipermetrina, las cuales sobrepasan los límites reportados previamente por otros estudios.

Globally, there has been a steep increase in the use of pyrethroid pesticides in the last decade; when they are used blended with organophosphates, pyrethroids become more potent, and their action and permanency in the environment is increased. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the presence of cyhalothrin, cyfluthrin, cypermethrin, fenvalerate and deltamethrin in water and soil from Yaqui and Mayo valleys in Sonora, Mexico. For the pyrethroids analysis the method of matrix solid-phase dispersion (MSPD) was used for extraction, and gas chromatography with detecting of capture of electrons for the determination. There were 194 samples (123 of soil and 71 of water), of which 14 positive samples were found (11 of water and 3 of soil). The largest detected concentration was found in soil with 65.6 μg/kg of cyhalothrin, while in water it was of 29.4 μg/L of cypermethrin, both surpassing the limits previously reported by other studies.
